ANXIETY DISORDER
WHAT IS IT?
Most often we have experienced a feeling of restlessness when we are guilty of something or that we’ve done something we didn’t want to. That can be termed as anxiety which is an occasional and normal way of feeling, except when this feeling uncontrollably starts to interfere with our daily lives! It then becomes a disorder!
Anxiety disorders can be a little ambiguous to differentiate from a normal feeling of overthinking. They do not just come with an exit point but an overwhelming thought process that moves in a loop and makes the man suffer. So we can define anxiety disorder to be a feeling with uncontrolled stress and worries accompanied by fear and that doesn’t even let to fall asleep! Therefore, oftentimes anxiety disorders are the root cause of other clinical disorders as well.
CAUSES OF ANXIETY DISORDERS:
The exact reason for such a type of disorder is yet particularly unknown however certain situations faced in life can cause to trigger the overall disorder. A sharp feeling of excessive fear and tension that is accompanied by bodily pain and troubled breathing is what occurs to a person with anxiety disorder. And this happens in episodes and sometimes so often and so rapid that leaves the person absolutely hopeless even to live! The meaning to live life gets disproportionate and confusing, and an intense fear grabs the person who gets absolutely blank for the moment and requires immediate help.

TYPES OF ANXIETY DISORDERS:
This disorder despite its unknown cause although comes with various root types of its own which are as follows:
“GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER” is the most common type of anxiety disorder found in men. It occurs with worries which have absolutely no reason for its occurrence and negatively impact the mental health condition in men. It is the most common type of disorder found in the world and may range from mild to severe.
“PHOBIAS” is the immense fear towards any worldly object with specific patterns, or any animals or heights of building or any odd objects. These are enough to give and retain the feeling of anxiety in a human for a long time until he can get over it.
“SOCIAL ANXIETY” is the state of mind when a person tends to avoid situations where lots of people and responsibility are concerned. These mostly develop at the childhood age and can continue up to the later stages of adulthood. Here the person tends to be socially very inactive and also reactive simultaneously.
“PANIC ATTACKS” falls on the category of anxiety disorder which means excessive fear out of some instance completely formed on the brain without any reason. This has severe and serious impacts on life if not treated correctly. And even has an associative and recurring nature.
“SEPARATION ANXIETY DISORDER” falls on such category when a person is caught in a traumatic situation of getting separated from his or her loved ones which cause him unbearable pain. Henceforth it results in the building of anxiousness.
Anxiety disorders have become one of the most common problems to mankind nowadays, and such a disease which causes almost everyone to suffer. It surely comes with life risks such as “SUICIDAL THOUGHTS” but if given the right and proper treatment at the proper time can eventually lead to the improvement of well-being.
Psychiatrists and mental health counselors around the world are on a constant trial to help and recover people in their earliest stages of anxiety by medications like ANTIDEPRESSANTS, ANTI PSYCHOTICS & ANTI CONVULSANTS along with BETA BLOCKERS OR BENZODIAZEPINES, and various therapies such as PSYCHOTHERAPY, RELAXATION TECHNIQUE, & COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY. that tend to improve their overall condition of lifestyle.
However, an estimated 275 million people suffer from an anxiety disorder which is 4% of the global population. (reported from weforum.org). Most people tend to shy out and shade their feeling out of the social taboo of further abuse. But this disorder needs more focus especially on the fast-running world of today and also demands a togetherness for a better tomorrow.
